A to Z

This page provides future Clients and their families with essential information and valuable advice so that the new client can commence receiving care at their home as smoothly as possible.

Free or private funded Home Care?

You might be eligible to receive a free home care. If you live in Slough Borough Council, then: speak to Social Services at 01753 475111 (option 1) to find out if you might be eligible to receive services for your care and whether you can get direct payments.

Direct Payments means Social Services have agreed that you are eligible to a free care; they will transfer you the funds into your account and you will pay care agency for the care services directly. In this way you are free to choose any care agency to deliver your care at home.
